Think. Act. Change

Europe@Home film competition

Can you capture the spirit of Europe in just 1 minute?

The EPP believes that it is important to give you the chance to tell us what you think about the European Union and its policies. As 2009 has been dedicated to the European Year of Creativity and Innovation and the debate is really hotting up for the United Nations' Climate Change Conference in December, we challenged young people to pick up a camera and shoot a 60 second film on the subject Change begins at home: creating a better environment.

Award Ceremony and Premiere

On 5 October 2009, under the auspices of the OPEN DAYS: European Week of Regions and Cities, the top three film-makers will come to Brussels to see their films premiered in a special event at the European Parliament in Brussels. Not only will they get to see the films on the big screen, it will also be an opportunity to meet the members of the jury; Isidoro Gottardo, President of the EPP Group in the CoR; Luc Vandeputte, Deputy Secretary General of the EPP; Eija-Riitta Korhola MEP, Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and Matthias Reute, Director General of DG TREN in the European Commission and other experts in the field.
